Watch: The Next Generation Game Console Coming in 2018
The next generation of gaming consoles is here.
And for the first time, you’ll be able to pick one up this Christmas.
The next-generation consoles—also called “next generation”—are expected to hit shelves in 2017, with a number of manufacturers vying to build the next-gen consoles.
However, it’s not just gaming that will be coming to next-level consoles.
We also expect to see an increase in the number of games and apps available for mobile devices.
And the biggest changes may come in the next few years, when next-grade games will finally be able access the same capabilities as their next-door neighbor.
For instance, mobile apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger will be able connect to the cloud, allowing users to share their photos and videos with friends, while new games like Pokemon Go and Grand Theft Auto V will have full 3D support.
These changes are only expected to be available in 2018.
However for the next three years, you won’t be able purchase a console unless you already own a smartphone.
We expect that demand to increase as consoles become more ubiquitous.
But the biggest change will come in 2018 when next generation consoles will no longer require a 3D television.
A new generation of consoles is going to be able run games from home or on the go, without needing a 3.5-inch screen.
As mentioned before, there’s also a new version of the Xbox One.
The new console will be called the Xbox 720 and will feature a 12.5:9 aspect ratio.
The Xbox 720 will have a 4K-resolution display, as well as a built-in GPU that runs at 2.1Ghz.
With this new GPU, Xbox 720s games will run at up to a 2560×1440 resolution, which is the same resolution as the PS4 Pro.
The new console is going be priced at $399.99 and will be released in December 2018.
